Spanish To Move® is a company founded in 2013, which offers courses and materials to help people learn Spanish under the slogan "Learn Spanish online: it´s time to move forward!"

Our Spanish learning program has been designed by experts to ensure effective and long lasting learning. We follow the direct (natural) method of teaching, developed to immerse the learner in Spanish in the same way as the learning of the mother-tongue: in a natural way. Teaching is done in Spanish, grammar is taught intuitively, there is a focus on speaking and listening, and only useful everyday language is taught.

This method has been adopted by key international language schools such as Berlitz and Inlingua, and many of the language departments of the Foreign Service Institute of the U.S. State Department.

Founders
Blanca and Luis Pelayo, creators of Spanish To Move®, are native Spanish teachers. After many years of using learning products for different languages, they decided to gather the most useful tools in a program that provides students an easy way to learn Spanish online, in a practical way, without putting the emphasis on grammatical complexities, exceptions to the rules or memorization of words without a context. The result is Spanish To Move®, an easy to use Spanish learning program, accessible, with a pedagogical design, which helps students to learn Spanish and speak it from the first moment.
Blanca (our Academic Director) is a Psychologist, with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy (by the Ibero-American University in Mexico). She is certified to teach Spanish as a foreign language, and has extensive experience in education, learning strategies, collaborative learning, developing personal skills wit NLP, the teacher's role as a consultant, teaching models, the person-centered education, and so on. She is also a writer, loves volunteering and has worked on different projects for seniors, adults with disabilities, food banks, homeless and migrants.
Luis (our CEO) is a Philosopher, with a Master’s Degree in Philosophy and Cultural Criticism, and a Ph.D in Philosophy (by the Ibero-American University in Mexico). He is a university professor at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, author, editor in chief of two national distribution magazines, and has completed different courses on educational models and the use of technology platforms, active learning, management of the learning process, use of technology and collegial work, learning as a service, ethical skill development, and so on. We offer different Spanish courses, from beginner to advanced levels, as well as Spanish classes via Skype where students can practice and speak in real time with certified, native Spanish teachers. Our program is easy to use, portable, inexpensive, and offers interesting lessons in the Spanish used by native speakers in everyday situations.
